Anita Briem was born in Iceland. She is famous for her character in the role of Jane Seymour , the young girl who will become the third wife of King Henry VIII in the series of television The Tudors and for her character in the role of Hannah in the film Journey to the Center of the Earth ( 2008 ) . Briem was born in Iceland and began her journey as an actor at age nine years old at Iceland's National Theater, is best known for playing Jane Seymour. She participated as a child in numerous radio and television shows, plays as well as other performances in Iceland. Briem at the age of 16 moved to London and took part in the production of Lenin In Love at The New End Theater. Briem got a spot at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in the year 19.
