Alison Doody
Alison Doody was born in Dublin in 1966, in the middle class family. Doody is the youngest of three siblings. The nunnery she attended was one of the most prestigious, and developed an interest for the arts. Then she was enrolled at an institution called the National College of Fine Arts in Dublin in Ireland, but quit because she did not have the passion and decided to have a break to think it out. Meanwhile, while sitting in a cafe with her buddies and chatting with friends, she was approached by a still photographer who wanted to know if she'd like to be a model. As she was convinced she could earn some extra cash from modeling, she agreed. Soon, she was working professionally as models. Contracts for modeling led to commercial jobs and eventually took her throughout the world. After seeing her work as an actor and being urged to pursue modeling. At the age of 19, the casting director accompanied her to London and she was able to win an audition for the role of A View to a Kill, the latest James Bond film. The passion for acting led her to pursue it as a profession. In the wake of her first feature, she shot a few TV dramas in London and Dublin But her most memorable success came when her name was chosen to play Aryan Seductress Dr. Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
