Uma Karuna Thurman is an American actress who gained fame with her portrayal of 'Mia Wallace' in the dark comedy film 'Pulp Fiction.' The movie's role made Thurman one of the most prominent stars in Hollywood. She's an ardent actor who does not mind shedding her glamourous image. The role she played in the 'Kill Bill' movie series won her awards and appreciation. Her birthplace was in a family with a reputation for unique ways of living and received the Hindu name and was raised with a Buddhist background.
